Born in the early 70s, the 1490 boot was adopted by subcultures — because our original 8-eye boot was police standard-issue at the time. An anti-establishment fashion statement, the 10-eye 1490 has been worn by goths, punks and other rebellious people ever since. This version is made with an all-vegan construction, including a matte black synthetic material — so you can rock Docs with no compromises.
